Ana Sophia was banded on 13 January 2021 as a fledgling, near Mt Faust in the Lewis Pass area. Sadly, her body was retrieved on the 30th January from the treeline near Mt Norma. Her remains were sent for predator DNA analysis but it is likely she was taken by a stoat.
