Flying Fluffball was banded in the Hawdon Valley, in eastern Arthur's Pass National Park as a fledgling in January 2024. Flying Fluffball was named by Harry from Year 4 at Beckenham School in Christchurch. Harry won a kea drawing competition following a school visit by a DOC Scientist where the class learnt all about kea. Well done Harry!
