Fugl was a young juvenile male when first banded near Mt Pfeifer, and carries a transmitter which will collect important data for ongoing Kea research! His names comes from the Norwegian word for bird. Fugl's transmitter has since been removed, ending his time in the study where he provided valuable information for his kind, and he continues to fly high in the mountains. Thanks, Fugl!
