This young female kea was caught and banded near the sea in the Tarakohe area of Golden Bay during July 2020. 'Kumanu' was chosen as the name for this lovely young kea by the team at Kūmānu Environmental (Nelmac) who sponsor and support the Kea Conservation Trust.
