Ngarimu was banded just after ANZAC day in Arthurs Pass in 2022, and was seen flying around with a group of 8 kea at the time! He was named after Moāna Ngarimu, who was awarded the Victoria Cross for bravery, determination and outstanding leadership. Unfortunately, Ngarimu has since been hit by a car and passed.
