Skywalker

This tiny little female was banded as a fledgling in Arthur's Pass village in early January 2020. She was named after one of the favorite characters of William - a nine-year old semi-local lad at Arthur's Pass. William has helped out the team a few times, along with his dad Greg. He has sketched Skywalker and we are using this for her profile page! As per >90% of young kea in the village, Skywalker has very high lead levels and without treatment, could well suffer later in life with the effects of lead poisoning.
