Top of Avalanche peak above Arthur's pass townsite.
Comments
I was not sure if the birds would be considered fledlings or juveniles, but those I marked as juvenile all had yellow Ceres and quite strong yellow eye rings. I have photos, but don't know how to send to you from my phone.
Behaviour
Flying, calling, begging from people. The one begging the most was the adult. Most were interacting between each other. Some were also digging at the ground with their beaks--very intently. They all flew around at various times, calling. Mostly they communed with each other and weren't bothered by all of us photographers.
