At Otira Viaduct Lookout.
Comments
3 birds arrived shortly after my arrival at the lookout. All three examined pieces of onion (outer layers) just beyond the safety barrier. None consumed. I have photographs of this and of the leg bands of all three birds.
Behaviour
Socialising and feeding on Coprosma berries at edge of carpark.
