Poochie's not visiting as often as last winter i've noticed but still appears occasionally. I hear occasional distant Keas through the day around Milford they are high up and gliding. Usually between the Main car park area to deep water basin or just generally following that flight path and calling the past few weeks not to many visiting down at sea level.
Behaviour
Visiting just on dark. Hopping along the veranda to peer into the staff windows or doors and see if anybody is home. A couple of calls and a great job at investigating anything he could get his beak into on the staff deck. (including gumboots, rubber door mats and thongs) visited for about 4 minutes then flew off to other staff accommodation down the road.
