Comments
We were thrilled to see this bird. It seemed quite patient hoping for a handout, but not aggressively seeking one.
Behaviour
We stopped at the overlook and about 5 minutes after we arrived this banded bird and another, whom we did not see close up, swooped down to hop on the ground and pick at the pavement. It took a drink out of a pool on a rock and generally waited around to see what we would do. We did not feed it and we left about ten minutes later when other tourists arrived.
