Death's Corner viaduct lookout car park.

Stopped here for lunch. Backed into highest available car park on north east side of pylon, to get a good view of car park. After about half an hour, at 12.40pm, I heard the screeching of a kea. Eventually Bird #1 came into view from where other cars parked by lookout and came towards me, at first walking slowly investigating the gravel from time to time, then running towards me, passing very close to me and flew on to car. Seemed a little disinterested after I shooed it off and flew onto rocks behind car. A few minutes later I heard it screech and saw it fly off. The other three birds (CL and two juvenile) came to visit me. At one stage all three on top of car. The two young ones quite playful on top of car and continued their playfulness on the ground when I shooed then off. CL and one juvenile disappeared onto the rocks behind car. CL spent some time preening. The one juvenile that remained seemed quite inquisitive and even wanted to nibble at my cell phone. Seemed very tame. Eventually it flew off to land on the top of a camper van. It was on the top of another camper van when I left approx. 1.15pm.
