Beside one of the rock wren survey transects in the Murchison Mountains

Behaviour
Arrived with another unknown bird (unknown if banded). The other bird flew off but this guy stayed, calling and eating berries. I came close to read his bands and he was curious - coming up to within a metre of me and checking me and my binoculars out. He hung around for about an hour before carrying on. Looked like an adult (no yellow near eyes etc)
