Milford Sound Lodge, Chalet 9, at the back deck/patio
Comments
Bird was very cute and sweet! Appeared curious, and not too afraid of people. Feathers looked well kept, albeit wet. Seemed like little buddy wanted to come inside where it was warm and out of the rain. Despite curiosity of humans, when lightly guided out of room, bird ran outside, so had some normal fear! (Will send along some pictures and videos)
Behaviour
(I dunno what the gender was, but I’d like to say he) Bird came casually into room and started to peck around belongings, stole some paper (no food was given) was very curious, tried to steal curtains. (Door was slightly closed and left ajar).Preened feathers. Attempting to try and get back in, was trying to push door with beak. Approx time; 6:23-6:52 (guesstimated)
