enjoyed watching them. were impressed with how bold they were. pleased that nobody was allowing the birds to get food.

Behaviour

strutting around on the deck and picnic tables, trying to steal food. People were doing a good job of not feeding and trying to keep their food away from them. One kea (that had a black '4' on a white band) was so bold that they walked up and actually grabbed the customer's hand to try to get their hand off of the food that they were covering up.
