I am not 100% sure about the white GD on blue, it it’s not very clear in the photo’s but seemed the most likely to the only match I could find with a kea named Seth. I have photo’s and a short video which I can send later
Behaviour
The banded bird was calling and sat in front of us first, then flew over our heads and sat down behind us on a rock where I could photograph it. The other bird was eating a piece of some orange fruit (something native) and couldn’t tell if the bird was banded or not.
