I think these were all juvenile keas. The photos show yellow eye bands and yellow above the beak.
Behaviour
A group of juvenile keas, at least 8 (and more arrived after this count) landed on the roof of the Chalet Hotel. Some keas were trying to get the nails out of the roof, or otherwise pulling on roof parts. The C8 banded kea was attacking one of the other keas repeatedly with beak and claws.
