Behaviour
Flying low overhead and landed in gum tree approx. 50m behind our house. We fairly frequently see kea flying higher overhead, although not for a wee while (I wonder if it is seasonal). This is the lowest they have flown overhead and the first time they have landed nearby. Stayed in the tree for several minutes then flew off. No calling.
