Location Details
Lake Lyndon/Ben More surrounding area. Entered through Lyndon, up to the 4x4 area. Hiked down the river into the valley. Took a break as we reached our goal point and these 3 birds joined out of nowhere.
Comments
Never thought to see Kea here. No tags, no fear, anable to tell male from female. Beautiful and safe experience, even with dogs. I have pictures and video if interested.
Behaviour
Flying, then approached us. Unafraid, curious. Did a few squeal calls, lovely. When we left, they followed us again for about 1km.
