Behaviour

Keas hanging out at the car park, playing with each other and hopping on the roof of visitor cars. They were biting each others’ beaks, a pair even kicked and bit the beak of another that was sitting on the ground. Couldn’t tell if they were playing, fighting or it was a case of parents disciplining a child. There were maybe 4-6 keas in total but I did not manage to photograph or ID some of them and did not notice if they were banded.
