Adriana found on her own just on dark, next to the 4wd track to the Hoophorn stream. Thought she was a falcon at first glimpse, then began to talk and walk around with her while she dug away at the snowgrass. Lost her in the dark for a few minutes then she appeared again next to the car door. At present there are a lot of sheep down in the area but I don't suspect she was up to no good! But it is a very unlikely place to encounter a kea.
