Lookout point in Arthur’s Pass, deaths corner, sitting on the electrical tower and rocks

Comments

At least 2 different ones unbanded (from photos). Very happy birds. Saw the bird with one eye. It was more friendly than the other birds. One of the birds seemed to be the boss, it was squawking with its feathers up and head out at the other birds and bossing them around, especially if it found something edible, it was unbanded.

Behaviour

Playful, cheeky, interacting with tourists, riding on roof racks, standing on cars until told off or to shoo, play fighting, chewing native bushes, two seen being intimate and showing affection, I have photos of all that I have reported and acting in this behaviour.
