Comments
These birds were part of a group that totalled 13. As i understand, 2 birds from this same group were hit by vehicles the day earlier. One of the un-banded birds has a piece of string around its right ankle (doesn't appear to be causing any problem yet but may help you identify it again. I spent a number of hours in the area in which time there were around 40 cars stopping in to Deaths corner lookout. in this time the majority of these birds remained at the lookout or on the faces behind the lookout. At around 4 pm all birds took to the sky and settled on the opposite face.
Behaviour
Feeding, Interacting with vehicles. White D on Blue was quite uncomfortable in its bands and never left the deaths corner lookout, preferring to hole up in the scrub directly beside the lookout. Was the only bird that did this for the whole day. Didn't look sick.
