Location Details
In the bush line just above the limestone bluffs, at the first predator trap (once past) - Bird #1. Bird #2 - atop the picnic table outside Luxmore Hut (seen at dawn on Apr 1st).

Bird #1 seen Mar 31st, Bird #2 seen Apr 1st.
Behaviour
Bird #1: Messing with predator trap - dropping stones on top and attempting to insert large stick. DoC ranger at Luxmore Hut said this is ‘BoB’ the kea. Bird#2: Sitting atop the picnic table at/outside Luxmore Hut at early dawn (still semi-dark).
