Half way between summit of Avalanche peak and Scotts track junction
Comments
Misty conditions with an approaching Nor-west storm. Wind rising.
Behaviour
7 birds, two banded investigating us on the summit ridge of Avalanche Peak. After a few minutes and some close up photos they flew off to the east. We saw 3 more possibly members of the same gang just down above the Scotts track junction.
