After was banded on Resolution Island in late March 2023 as an adult. After's large plastic band was not properly attached as it started snowing heavily during banding. The team decided to release him regardless. He was seen two days later (at Mt Wales) and had lost the large plastic band on his right leg. He still had the metal and small plastic bands though.
