At the red light waiting to enter homer tunnel towards Te Anau.
Comments
The banded bird we encountered was the same one we encountered earlier in the day but the second bird was not with him at that time and does not have any leg bands. We will send photos to the email address.
Behaviour
Both birds landed on the car. The first one was not banded. It stood on the car mirror trying to get into the car. We had window mostly up and it was playing with my wife’s coffee cup. Both were very inquisitive and chewing on the seals around the windows.
