Location Details
Kea hanging around Luxmore Hut. Some on the roof/solar panels, some on the deck and underneath the helicopter pad. Others calling from some of the nearby shrubbery.
Comments
I will send some photos of these kea and the ones at Iris Burn and Moturau.
Behaviour
Two birds (Melsby and unbanded juvenile) interacting with people, very confident and trying to get at feet. Calling, observing doorways. Unbanded juvenile harassing people eating outside and trying to steal their food. Two unbanded juveniles play wrestling on the roof. One of the adults fed the fledgling.
