Fran (White AX on orange band) re appeared today and quickly returned to her routine of approaching each group in the Carpark who had food to try and get someone to feed her, more often than not she was successful and was fed. I found a group from USA feeding her a packet of bird seed, after speaking with them they were very apologetic and hadn't realised that feeding Kea could have negative impacts or cause death. I also found large chunks of chocolate laying on the ground in the Carpark,along with Apple cores, nectarines, lettuce, bread, almonds, capsicum, chewing gum, muesli bars. I removed all rubbish and food scraps, but this is a constant daily issue.
