80 meters away from the hut and came from the hill above the hut gliding on down Infront of the hut to see the walkers. Then about 20 minutes later flew to me reading a book then after a few minutes off to visit some people sitting down on the cave track.

Heard about the data base from the kea talk in Milford last year.
Behaviour
Visiting all the walkers and calling twice upon entrance announcing his presence. Within a meter of me.
