Behaviour
Guille and Ueli were checking out a campervan parked on the side of the road and posing for pictures. Guille investigated the inside of one of the campervans from outside. The van left, both birds started walking in a circle, and then glided down to the next view point where there were more cars. They didn't flap their wings once - just an awesome flowy gliding down, very majestic. I drove down to meed them again and Red Y on White (which I believe to be Tawa, it was my first encounter with this bird) joined the two. Guille came close to Tawa and they preened each other for a few seconds (maybe it's his partner? Or maybe his mom?). Guille and Ueli then proceeded to explore cars while Tawa observed from the ground. The three of them were being very vocal, doing a screetchier version of the play call that I don't recall hearing before. Guille flew West after about 5 minutes and the other birds followed.
