Comments

Banding and lead testing in Arthurs Pass village by Laura, Nick and Cam. Up to 30 kea in between the main street and Waynes lawn buffet #thescene. Recaptured Cam and Wozza for chelation treatment due to very high lead levels and they were picked up, kindly by Pauline from the wildlife hospital in Christchurch. Followed with a successful removal of Ken Joe's transmitter and an unsuccessful attempt at Maungatere's. 5 new birds were also processed late into the evening, incl Kennedy who is sponsored by the Canterbury Mountaineering Club.
